Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has expressed his support for Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu publically.
He shared a post on his Instagram page with the President’s bold picture with an inscription that reads, ‘’ Relax, Jagaban will fix Nigeria’’.
Yul voiced his abiding support for the President, cataloging himself an ‘’Asiwaju boy’, he noted that he loves the president and consistently prays for his success.
The caption read, “ASIWAJU BOY.100%. UNAPOLOGETICALLY. I LOVE TINUBU. I BELIEVE IN HIM. AND I’M PRAYING FOR HIM TO SUCCEED.”
But it seems his followers and supporters, weren’t happy and scratched into his comment section with insults, some describing Yul as a faker, for faking his support for Tinubu for money, while others accused him of being two-sided.
Yul on August 15, 2023, posted a picture of the president with a prolonged caption, uttering his full support for the leadership.
He has been vocal about politics and has now publicly endorsed his president.
He said, “As a leader, you will see certain things that your people may never see. You will have access to certain information that your people may never have access to. So some of your decisions may not be fully understood by the people, even though they’re in the best interest of the people. know you’re a man of wisdom. May God guide you in all the decisions you take for Nigeria. Best Wishes, Mr. President.THE JAGABAN.”
He once again received massive backlash from his followers and others threatening to unfollow him and even boycott his films.
