The city of Toronto is hosting its African Fashion Week from August 25th- 27th 2023.
According to the organizers, the week is “designed as an opportunity to provide exposure to various designers and brands including those from out of province and throughout the world.”
The event assurances to be a large celebration to showcase Africa and its diaspora through culture-rich events and activities.
The event this year will take place at Yonge-Dundas Square, Ontario,
There are numerous events arranged throughout the week including a High Fashion Designer showcases, Couture experiences, and Look book Day Party.

African Fashion Week Toronto (AFWT) is a not-for-profit initiative produced in partnership with the “Afro Centre for the Arts”. The event occurs once a year (August) showcasing culture-rich events and brand launch activities. AFWT spans across Toronto and brings exposure to various designers and brands including those from out of province and worldwide.
This volunteer-based platform takes pride in creating opportunities for our creative industry and providing an avenue to market new and existing brands.
