The Honorable Mayor of Inawashiro, H.E the Ambassador of Ghana to Japan, members of the governing body of the Inawashiro town, members of the Ghana Embassy Staff, members of Hotel Listel Inawashiro, the entire town of Inawashiro, volunteers, we from Ghana are very honored to have been hosted by you in the place of birth of the great Dr Hideyo Nogouchi whose works has brought a lot development to the world.
In September 2019 when we engaged your representatives at the Chef de Mission seminar, we knew we would enjoy our stay here. Covid-19 came and attempted to disrupt all the good plans that had been laid down but here we are, we made it here and we joined hands with you to execute what we had both planned.
Athletes, officials of the Paralympic team here, officials of the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana and the entire Republic of Ghana extend their sincere gratitude for the kindness shown to us.
We had a good training experience though short but this will not be the last time for us, we will go back again in the near future.
We know you will be behind us during the games and we will do our best and beyond to make you proud.
We will look forward to a day when you will also like to visit our country to experience the Ghanaian hospitality.
Thank you all for everything you have done for us though the glaring challenges, some of which we witnessed ourselves.
We are glad to have learnt how to use PAPER in the art referred to as ORIGAMI.
We do not have much now, so we leave you TEN PAPER ART WORKS made by ourselves from what you taught us.
