The Ghana Association of Writers in partnership with Ghana international book fair celebrates the 20th Ghana International Book Fair 2023 which begins from 10th August to 13th of August 2023.
Ghanaian famous Footballer and the former captain of the Blackstars, Asamoah Gyan happens to be the one to handle the Celebrity-Author & Readers connect session. (Conversation about books and book signing)this year at the Ghana International Book Fair.
The theme for this year’s edition ‘’reading to connect minds for social transformation’’.
The main goal behind organizing the book fair is to bring together all Ghanaians and International Book players to exhibit books, creativity, and innovations; explore business opportunities; organize literacy programs for students; and hold workshops for the book industry to enhance the publishing of quality books.
The event will take place at the Accra International Conference Center this Saturday, 12th August 2023 at 4: 00 pm.
The International Book Fair is an annual event organized every year to celebrate the rich Ghanaian culture through books.
Also to network with both local industry players and international printing and publishing houses and to provide a platform to interact with readers for their book needs and do a market search on what area, subject, or content to publish.
The book fair is open to all book industry practitioners as well as educational institutions and other related sectors of the economy to network and trade.
