Veteran coach, Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has expressed that Ayew brothers are integral part of the black stars and must remain part of the Black Stars team.
In an interview, coach J.E Sarpong explained that the Ayew brothers have a lot of experience which is required in building a very formidable national team under new head coach Chris Hughton.
“It’s too early to axe Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew from the Black Stars team. We need to build a team with youth and experience. Once it’s not good to retire our experienced players in our national team.”
Both Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been invited by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the next round of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana will face Angola in a doubleheader encounter later this month in Group E of the qualifiers.
