Maverick lawyer Ace Ankomahhas been named MUSIGA Anti-Corruption Star for the month of April as part of the Union’s anti-corruption campaign dubbed “The Role of Music in the Implementation of the National Anti-Corrption Action Plan (NACAP).”
The campaign involves the release of an All Star anti-corruption song and video, a drama video, anti-corruption walks and stakeholders’ forum.
Receiving the award, Mr. Ankomah expressed his excitement at receiving the award and thanked the Union for the honor done him. He said “The fight against anti-corruption is an ongoing and we need all hands on board so this initiative by MUSIGA is a welcome one and should contribute to winning the fight.”
The presentation was done by former MUSIGA President Diana Hopeson accompanied by President Bice OseiKuffour, Smart Nkansah, chairman of the MUSIGA National Election Committee; 1st Vice President, Bessa Simons and Director of Communications and Special Projects, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey.
The MUSIGA Anti-Corruption campaign is supported by STAR-Ghana Foundation.
