Effective political leadership demands a focus on a country’s long-term improvement, prioritizing the common good over short-term personal gains. It requires a blend of charm, honesty, and the ability to evaluate situations for the benefit of the majority.
Above all, leadership in a democratic system requires statesmanship rather than mere political maneuvering. It involves possessing the integrity and courage to stand up for what is fair, even if it means resigning from a government post or losing an election.
