Lets coexist in peace —Joseph Kwame Kumah

There is a need for the government and all security agencies to collaborate work hard by bring all the factions in all intra tribal or any communal clash to desist from any act that may escalate any violence in this difficult time of economic hardship.
Let’s continue to live and coexist as one family and one people to use all structures available to find solutions to any feud that can degenerate to conflict.
The Member of Parliament for Kintampo North Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah said this on Ahotor 92.3 FM on Adekyee Mu Nsem morning show hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in Accra.
According to the Member of Parliament for the area, Joseph Kwame Kumah, tensions were high when the Mo tribe requested to perform rituals within the months of November and December, coinciding with the annual Klubi festival of the Wangara community.
In response to calls for a ceasefire by the MP, the Speaker directed that the government must take immediate steps to ensure peaceful coexistence.
He opined that is very unfortunate that the Member of Parliament is not of regional and district security council, but part of peace council. This he said there is a need for good initiative from all the factions involved in the disturbances to respect the law and guard against the peace we are enjoying in the country.
Joseph Kwame Kumah, said he is delighted the police patrol team are on the ground and all the factions are very patients to assist to find lasting solution to this development in the area.
