The three final nominees for the 2022–23 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Awards were revealed by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Thursday.
The three nominees are Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi and Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne.
Coaches and journalists were asked to choose their top three players from the shortlist by giving them five points, three points, and one point, respectively, according to Ahotor Sports.
