A Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the Board of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of West Indies, Professor Marie Antonio has said that she is very proud of how far Africa has come.
According to her, although Africa does not have all, she appreciates how the continent has managed to persistently fight poverty.
In her speech at the Emancipation Ceremony of Trinidad and Tobago, Prof. Antonio mentioned that Ghana is leading in the fight against poverty and independence with democracy in flow.
“Africa is a very important continent, and it’s worth connecting to, we are not connecting only for nostalgia but for the future, and all-time benefit from each other, “she said.
She added that Africa is an important content to the world’s support system.
