Deputy Director of International Affairs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Fred Agbenyo has called on his fellow politicians to stop thinking that they are doing Ghanaians favor when they bring development to their communities.
According to him, it is not their money that they use for such projects, but rather, its monies paid by the people in the country hence why do you feel big using people’s own money to do something for them, he asks.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of Ahotor FM, Mr Agbenyo mentioned that, it is the right of Ghanaians to have good roads, electricity, water, hospitals, and everything that will make life better available.
“It’s taxpayers’ money or loans that have been borrowed in the name of the country in which we are all going to work to pay for it,” he said.
Commenting on the fast-track ongoing projects in the Assin North constituency by the government due to the upcoming by-elections, he admitted that, this is not the first time.
