Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has received his forms today to contest the upcoming NPP presidential primaries.
The campaign team of Kennedy Agyapong picked up the forms on his behalf at the party’s headquarters in Accra (Asylum down) earlier today. He becomes the ninth person to have picked up a form since the party opens nominations.
The flagbearer hopeful upon receiving the forms, by his team at his office told Ghanaians and NPP supporters that, he is ready for the battle, hence those that thought he is campaigning in vain should witness that he was not joking but had picked forms to contest the flagbearer position in the NPP.
Speaking to the media, he thanked his campaign team led by Kwame Owusu for the massive support and called on them to spread the good news to the party delegates so that, he will be victorious to lead them into the 2024 general elections.
The opening of nomination for the presidential primary will span for about one month and be closed on June 24, 2023.
