Political Economist Mr. Emmanuel Boamah has called on the Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta to resign to save the country’s economy.
He said the same person who led Ghana into the economic mess cannot lead the delegation in the IMF negotiations.
According to him, the Finance Minister has plunged the country into unsustainable public debt which he thinks is the cause of the economic challenges.
He further added that there is a crisis manifesting across all facets of social and economic life; noting that people no longer trust the Finance Minister.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm’s morning show ‘Ade Kyi Mu Nsem‘ he urged the Minister to do the honorable thing by stepping down and allow different person to lead the IMF negotiation for the interest of Ghanaians.
