February has historically been celebrated as a month of romance and Valentines day, 14th February, has roots both in Christianity and ancient Rome mythology.
The holiday is celebrated in Africa and Western part of the world, though modern day celebrations barely resemble it’s origins, the holiday is one considered sacred to many, accounting for a plethora of wedding anniversaries and proposals.
Ahotor fm which is in a love relationship with its teaming listeners were not left out. The management of the station led by its able general manager, Micheal Ologo, surprised their patrons on this love day. Special programmes were hosted on air , where listeners who correctly answer easy questions were generously rewarded.
This included but not limited to a dinner for couples at the plush Ramadan Hotel-Nungua, special treats at Abrantie College, which comprised of manicure, pedicure, hair treatment and a massage. Others were gifts of Anantra Rapid, Yum-mie Noodles and special cakes.
The management of Ahotorfm is grateful to its patrons and listeners who made the event a successful one, especially Blow chem Group of company (Yum-mie Noodles), Cake Tekniks International, Abrantie College and Alaska Pharmacy who sponsored the event, not forgetting Ramada resort in Nugua.
