The NDC in the Ashanti Region is questioning the rationale behind the NPP after being in power for 5 years are still cutting sods in the region.
It says, despite the huge votes the NPP got from the region in the 2020 general elections, the Ashanti Region has been abandoned in terms of development.
Which the President, Nana Addo denied, saying the Ashanti Region has seen massive developments under his government which is biggest in the history of Ghana since Independence.
The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC Kwame Zu was surprised why after the NPP government being in power for 5 years, are still cutting sods in the region which he described as a clear sign of bad faith on the side of the government.
Mr Zu again noted that, the numerous projects the NPP-led government is boasting off in the region, were all projects started under the NDC government.
