GFA confirms Milovan Rajevac as Black Stars coach

The Ghana Football Association has today unveiled 67 year old Milovan Rajevac as the new head coach for the senior national soccer team the Black Stars.
The Serbian last stint with a national team was with the War Elephants of Thailand in 2019. 

Rajevac will be assisted by Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu.

CONTRACT DETAILS

* 1 year
* Option to extend for another year if he qualifies Ghana for AFCON & WORLD CUP
* Monthly salary of $30,000
* 300,000 each to be awarded to him if he wins AFCON & WORLD CUP
* Last stint with Ghana was from 2008-2010
* Immediately he left Ghana he joined Saudi Arabia team Al-Ahli
* Last coaching job was Thailand national team from 2017-2019

HIS PAST RECORDS with Ghana:
* Rajevac led Ghana to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2010 and also to the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa
