The Dorma District Police on Tuesday morning arrested Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams after he reportedly hit a police officer to death by a car he was driving on monday.
According to reports, the incident happened on monday evening on the Sunyani – Dormaa road in a town called Asuotiano when the player was returning from Sunyani in his girlfriend’s car.
Sunyani based Nimde3 FM reported that the deceased, Constable Amos Maatey Niganoko died on the spot and his body has been deposited at the morgue in Dormaa.
Nimde3 FM further revealed that the constable was on duty but had asked his colleagues for permission to go and buy mosquito repellent with his motorbike and met his untimely death.
Constable Maatey’s body was found on Tuesday morning and after investigations started, the Aduana stars centre back was subsequently picked up.
