A well known and large following socio- political show Konkosa previously aired on now closed Radio Gold by the Akuffo Addo government has been reintroduced on a sister station , Ahotor 92.3 fm based in Lashibi, Accra, The show now starts from mondays to Fridays with the exception of Wednesdays between 5: 30 pm to 6:00 pm and has already begun. The maiden edition of Konkonsa was aired on the 15th of June 2020, by its regular host Efo Dzakpata who used to host it on Radio Gold.
The show has become a segment on the station’s evening drive show hosted by Okyerefo, Konkonsa isn’t the only show on RadioGold that has been adopted by Ahotorfm, another top political programme Alhaji and Alhaji runs on the station every Saturday between 9am – 12pm .
Ahotor FM has also introduced another insightful socio-political programme which runs from mondays to Fridays between 1pm – 3pm called Simpieso with Kakeeku as the host. Going into an active political season , the Lashibi based radio station has taken measures to meet the high demand for political programmes. The station currently owns 4 different socio- political shows plus Alhaji and Alhaji and Kweku Skirt’s show making and overall 6 different political programmes running currently.
