An Accra High court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the MP for Berekum East Dr Kwabena Twum Nuamah over a land litigation.
The MP and one Majima Shaibu Mohammed are alleged to have illegally developed a disputed parcel of land around Dome-Kwabenya in Accra, hence the contempt charge.
The case is contained in Suit No LD/0332/2016, titled Jibril Mahama versus Akwasi Mensah.
The court ordered that the MP and the other suspect when arrested, should be brought to court on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
