The Minister for Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso Boakye, announced that the construction of the Sunyani road, stretching from Terchere to Afrisipakrom in the Tano North Municipality of the Bono Region, has reached 76% completion, facilitating improved transportation in the area.
During a media inspection, Hon. Asenso Boakye stated that the remaining 23% of the project will be finished by the end of July.
He attributed the delay to mining activities in the area, which necessitated the diversion of heavy-duty trucks through a bypass to ensure the smooth continuation of mining operations
