Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale, has expressed his dislike for being compared to Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, stating that he considers it an unfair comparison.
Shatta Wale drew an analogy between being compared to his juniors to primary 4 students being compared to JHS 3 students, which he argues is ridiculous.
According to him, he has been a star before Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, and he sees no need for him to be compared to them. He also mentioned that Ghanaians used to compare him to Samini, which he had no problem with. However, he believes that since Samini is out of the system, he is now being compared to his juniors.
He added a comment on Sarkodie’s music, saying that his rap does not make any sense.
He said he has listened to plenty of songs which relate to the street, but he finds it difficult to make sense of Sarkodie’s songs and believes that Sarkodie’s focus is only on the fast rap, but the truth be told, nobody hears what he is saying.
Shatta Wale believes that the songs listened to by Ghanaians do not relate to anything..
