Mr. Abraham Koomson, the Secretary General of the Ghana Federation of Labor is calling on the Vice President who double as the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to scrap the taxes he claimed to remove as President now, because he is acting as the President Nana Addo has traveled.
According to him, can’t Dr Bawumia use his influence to direct parliament and do something about the e-levy as they did during its implementation.
Speaking on Yepeahunu, a Saturday morning show on Ahotor 92.3 FM, Mr. Koomson called on the flagbearer not to forget that, he still holds the Chairmanship position of the Economic Management Team (EMT) therefore, he should be worried about the plight of Ghanaians and do something about it.
He said, he is ready to vote for NPP and Dr Bawumia if only he can act now and remove all that taxes, he mentioned during his speech weeks ago especially the e-levy.
“Do you know what is going to happened to people who have lost their jobs due to taxes between now and December” he asked Dr Bawumia.
