Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Chief Executive Officer of the Universal Multimedia (Ahotor 92.3 FM and Radio1 100.7 FM) has turned 61 today being Friday, March 10, 2023. Since the dawn of today, countless number of goodwill messages have been pouring in from different angles – family, friends, groups, institutions in Ghana and beyond.
Besides the goodwill messages from politicians and high profiled personalities in and around Africa to the former NDC Chairman, callers and listeners of Ahotor 92.3 Fm also wished him well.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm’s morning show ‘Ade Kyi Mu Nsem‘, callers who called in praised Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo on his birthday.
Appearing on the show as guests, Member of the NDC Greater Accra Regional Communication Team Kwaku Agyekum Asare said “We should give thanks to God Almighty for adding a year to Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo’s age, it is my prayer that God will add more years to his age” he told Citizen Kofi Owusu.
On the part of the Deputy Communications Officer for the Ashaiman constituency of the NDC Joseph Awuku popularly known as Chairman Joe, he said “I want to wish Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo a happy birthday, the best things in his life is ahead of him as former president John Mahama said”.
The Tema Central Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful for the NDC and a member of the Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) Carl Owuonpesika praised Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo as a good leader and someone who can become President for the country in the future.
“I want to use the birthday of Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo to tell him that he will become the President of Ghana someday after John Mahama, he has the qualities, so what I want to tell Chairman he should start preparing because he is going to be a President”.
