The Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST) have assured the public that the adulterated fuel products found in Kumasi are not in the market.
A driver and 9 vehicles have been impounded in connection with the incident at the Kumasi Depot of BOST.
The development was captured in a statement by the Corporate Communications and External Affairs Department of BOST dated 12th October 2021.
According to the statement, BOST is taking all required steps to rectify the anomaly which was discovered days ago.
The statement added that the truck containing the adulterated oil is being held at a safe place whilst investigations continue.
Managing Director of BOST Edwin Provincal says the police are currently investigating circumstances leading to the incident.
