Kotoko reach agreement with Medeama for ‘Agadas’


Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with Medeama SC for the services of midfielder Richard Boadu, Ahotor Sports can exclusively confirm.

The Porcupine warriors have agreed to sign the experienced midfielder until 2025 in a deal worth Gh¢100,000 in this transfer window.

The 23-year-old is expected to undergo a mandatory medical examination before signing a four-year deal with the Kumasi-based club.

Boadu was outstanding for the Mauves even during the absence of Justice Blay, having cemented the holding midfield role.

Boadu made 24 league appearances, scoring a goal which came against Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League match-week 21 in the just ended campaign.

Boadu, who is a member of the Black Stars ‘B’ team, attracted interest from the Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak  but has finally decided to join the Porcupine Warriors.
