I have said it before and I will repeat it here ” if everyone suddenly becomes reasonable in the face of the prevailing thurgery, stealing, cronyism etc under the current Npp administration, trust me, President Akuffo Addo will be thrown out like a common criminal on Dec 7th … but unfortunately we live in a sick society where people will forever defend naked nonsense even if that nonsense threatens their very existence as humans.
Democracy by construct is not a model for the unreasonable, it only works for the enlightened and therefore, the struggle of Africa must be understood in this light !
This concept of enlightenment isn’t about college degrees or how many degrees you have, it’s about one’s ability to develop a positive attitude towards decision making, one’s ability to build convictions premised on what’s right and just, I call that an extreme conscious awakening !
It’s therefore sad to notice the speedy pace our society is degenerating into a backward concept that reinforces political decisions build on emotions and impulses with no courage to confront evil in the face. Even where leadership mess up lurks or becomes palpably visible , with reinforced energy, people will still defend that without a cause . This weired phenomenon has become pervasive… in all aspect of Ghanaian lives… The Church, the media, political parties, institutions etc….
Consequently, in Ghana today, we celebrate thieves and pen robbers in leadership positions, we follow and cheer demented sick people pretending as celebrities , we worship confident tricksters and armed robber with Bible calling themselves men of God and all these are made possible because some human beings refuse to use their God given brain to analyze prevailing circumstances and its prospective implications before making crucial decisions.
However how harsh this may sound, that’s the truth, I prefer to cast the whole situation in a harsh reality than to play with words.
For instance, if you go to the social media platforms and read what majority of the people are talking about, the kind of persons they give mileage to and what the so called mainstream media are patronizing…you will be shocked !
It’s nothing more than a complex mix of trivial and despicable content ! That alone is enough to predict the future of the nation we are building…
On daily basis we do project “demented idiots” and present them as celebrities, people who are supposed to be on long-term admission at the psychiatry ward are those often seen buzzing on social media advertising nothing but crass idiocy with huge following …. A sign extreme mental weakness !
In the media today, unfettered access is often handed to some “twisted minded persons” using the Holy Bible as a tool to fool the unwitty whilst critical issues underpinning the lives of the majority of the people are left undiscussed! Crucial time is spent on casting silly prophecies and intill fear in the weak and prepare them for extortion all in the name of God!
Today , the cheapest status to earn in Ghana is a celebrity status , a week post of half naked pictures or some heavy twerks on Facebook is enough to win someone a celebrity status because the cheap media and the half baked bloggers are always available to trend them to fame…. so sad.
On the flip side, just write or post something sensible meant to provoke deep thoughts… Hey nobody or few persons will read or comment but you post any nonsense… be it nude pictures or just write on your timeline that you have a sex tape of someone … even old men will be sending you private messages and make a request ….. This should give you an indication the kind of society we are living in.
See, there’s no sign of progress in Ghana looking at the kind of mentality majority of the people wear and until me make conscious efforts to sanitize our minds and begin to reason independently and hold those we vote for critically accountable for their actions and inactions, trust me, nothing will save us from the eventual destruction looming and even God cannot save us from ourselves because the last time I checked Jesus Christ upon all His amazing miracles didn’t have the power to heal idiots.
Until people begin to be consciously reasonable and act as such, everyone is bound to perish under this cycle of sick, crazy and demented leadership.
Let’s me repeat this, wherever in the world you see corrupt leadership, the people in that country are no victims and no one is innocent as well, each one of them is either an acomplice or an active sponsor bad leadership because they people nursed it, pruned it and watered it to thrive ! Don’t forget, at any point in time, the people have power to end every bad leadership in any way necessary and failure to do so makes everyone complicit !
Reviewing Ghana’s current predicaments under Nana Addo, it’s pathetically sad to hear professors, doctors, pastors and supposedly level headed people shouting 4 more for Nana.. Looking at all that have happened under Nana Akufo-Addo’s presidency.
President Akuffo Addo has conveniently raised an army stealing experts who are mainly his family members who are in an aggressive pursuit to plunder Ghana to zero, unprecedented reckless borrowing with nothing to show, family infestation of his presidency, reckless mortgaging of Ghana’s natural resources and funds…. gold Royalties, ( Agyapa Royalties), Bauxite ( Sino – Hydro), GetFund, ESLA, GetFund, Cocoa etc.. ECG was sold to family and friends through scam transactions which gave birth to PDS scandal. Cash for seat scandal etc and now the Martin Amidu’s expose aftermath his resignation…
I’m so so surprised to hear people still shout 4 more. Like seriously? maybe these people don’t have a damn clue what a hell is going on in Ghana right now !
Let’s me say this again to our Npp friends, Npp was a decent party before Nana Addo took over but unfortunately not anymore.
This is not President Kuffour’s version of Npp, that Npp was somewhat descent, Kuffour had honour and some level of integrity and I respect him as such.
But hey… Today’s Npp under Nana Addo has metamorphosized into a criminal enterprise under the dictates of some mafia gangs with ties to President Akuffo Addo.
