Madam Naa Adoley Nyanteh, a Ghanaian woman curently based in the United States of America has collaborated the claim that University of Environment and Sustainable Development at Somanya was built by the past NDC administration under President John Dramani Mahama and according to her, it’s highly reprehensible for President Akuffo Addo and persons in the NPP to claim responsibility for the adorable project at Somanya in the Eastern Region .
According Madam Nyanteh, she is the owner of the land used for the university project.
“The land used for the university at Somanya belongs to my late father who bought from a friend in the 1970’s. ..ask anyone from Somanya, the place is called “Nyantemam” translated “Nyanteh Town” becuase my late father was called Mr. Kwame Nyanteh… She revealed.
Speaking to Citizen Kofi on Ahotor 92.3 fm’s morning show from her base in the States, Mad. Nyanteh revealed that the family was approached by the then DCE of Somanya in 2013 who expressed government’s interest over the land.
According to her, discussions and negotiations with the family around the land at the time didn’t end before sign posts were raised on the land, a situation which prompted her to seek court redress in 2015 through her lawyers. She said government is yet to pay her and the family for the land as negotiations are still under way.
“I took JDM to court over that land and i won the case ..the case was called in 2015, yes John Mahama cut the sod in 2016 and what is the Npp talking about ? She questioned President Akuffo Addo and NPP’s attempt to claim ownership over the project.
She also indicated that, the University of Environment and Sustainable Development is not the only project the previous administration embarked on at Somanya, she recalled, Mad Adoley also revealed that, a hospital facility was billed to be constructed on the same stretch of land which was later relocated to another part of Somanya town due to numerous infrastructure projects projected to be constructed on the land for the university project.
Tearful Adoley apologised to H.E John Dramani Mahama for supporting deceitful Akuffo Addo in 2016 and thanked the former President for his vision which according to her, has brought glory to the the memories of her late father.
She expressed her disappointment over the Akuffo Addo led government and expressed extreme regret for ever supporting Akuffo Addo with her everything in 2016.
I’m so so sorry, John Mahama should forgive me, I wished my late father could come back for just a second to see what John John Mahama has done on his land…. God bless him, I regret ever supporting Akuffo Addo. ..everyone has been deceived by President Akuffo Addo who is collapsing businesses in Ghana, l shall return to Ghana soon.
