Management of the Amasaman Municipal hospital in Ga West of the Greater Accra is appealing to benevolent organization to come to its aid in the provision of Personal Protective Equipment PPEs .
This request follows a donation of medical supplies by Spanish Construction Firm Elecuor Ghana to the facility.
According to the management, although government provides PPEs to the hospital for the discharge of its duties, they are woefully inadequate.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 fm news, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Eric Sarpong Ntiamoah says the facility needs more PPEs to break the cycle spread of the coronavirus.
He further said over 300 pieces of nose masks are provided to their staff everyday and that put a lot of pressure on their stock.
