A good old saying goes something like, “the fruit does not fall far from the tree” and following in the footsteps of his dad, Kaden Attakora Amaniampong is poised to make his father, Attakora Amaniampong proud.

Amaniampong was a member of the national U-17 squad that won the 1995 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Ecuador and is currently the deputy coach for SSV Merten in the German Inberliga Mittelrhein. The Starlets and Sattelites defender has assured the world that it will see a fine player in his son soon.
Currently on the books of FC Cologne in Germany, the fifteen year old son of the FIFA U-17 World Cup winner has been tipped for greatness by his proud dad. Kaden is being monitored by the Germans to represent them in international football in the near future.
Speaking with his dad, Attakora Amaniampong on Ahotor FM’s morning sports dubbed the Ahotor Warm Up Sports, he revealed that his son has been training with the U-17 of FC Cologne because of his football skills which assures him that, the world will see some explosive soccer from Kaden soon.
“Currently he plays for FC Cologne’s U-16 but by God’s grace because he is a great player, he trains and plays with the U-17,” an excited Attakora Amaniampong told Daakyehene in the interview.
As to whether Kaden will represent Ghana or Germany on the international level, Attakora Amaniampong said the world will know their decision when the time comes.
Kaden Amaniampong currently holds German Citizenship Card.
