An official communication from the presidency reaching Ahotoronline.com indicates that the embattled energy minister, Hon Boakye Agyarko has been sacked.
The development relates to the recent Ameri deal which was subsequently rejected by parliament after the sector minister for energy, Hon Boakye Agyarko had failed to convince parliament on the grounds of poor delligence on the said reviewed contact.
The new Novated Ameri scandal adds up to the many scandals under this Akuffo Addo led government. There has been an intense pressure on the president to sack Mr. Agyarko who is related to the president by blood.
Reasons behind his sack per the communication was not made known but we can state categorically without any equivocation or shred of doubt that his sack from office with immediate effect has everything to do with the recent Novated Ameri scandal that has generated a lot of heat in all political discourse.
