Let’s Vote for the NDC, the Party of Truth – John Mahama

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama has called on Ghanaians to choose a truthful and transparent government in the upcoming December 7th elections, emphasizing that the NDC stands out for its honesty in Ghanaian politics.

Speaking as the guest of honor at the 42nd-anniversary celebration of Yejiwura Pimampim Yaw Kabrese V in Yeji, John Mahama urged citizens not to be swayed by what he called “vote-buying tactics” from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He cautioned Ghanaians against accepting temporary favors or promises, stating that true leadership requires consistent action over time—not just during election season.

Ahotor News correspondent Emmanuel Romeo Tetteh reported Mr. Mahama’s confidence in the NDC’s chances, while stressing the importance of vigilance on election day.

“I see that as elections approach, the NPP has suddenly started fixing roads and installing DRIP machines to give the impression of progress,” John Mahama remarked.

“They’ve had eight years to show results, but now, as the election nears, they want to create an illusion of action. Don’t fall for these last-minute gestures. Let’s vote for a party that has demonstrated integrity and commitment all along. The NDC is the most truthful party in Ghanaian politics, and we are dedicated to leading this country in the right direction.” He said.
