I Will Embrace Black Star’s call- Moses Odjer
Moses Odjer a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a central midfielder for the Italian Seria B side, Salernitana has stated that he will graciously embrace the call to play for the National football team, Black Stars.
He made this revelation in a studio interview on Ahotor FM’s Afternoon Sports Show with the host Daakyehene Kwabena Amoabeng.
He stated that his experience in the Italian side (Salernitana) is enough to earn him a place in the black star squad and will be most delighted to bring his experience on board to ensure the success of the national team.
It is noted that Black Star’s coach Akwasi Appiah has made a recent call up for the AFCON 2019 qualification matches with players which included, Asamoah Gyan, Afriyie Aquah, Agyemang Badu, Frank Achampong etc and will subsequently continue other call ups if the need be.
He concluded by wishing the black Stars well and prayed for their win on Sunday.
Moses Odjer started playing for the local based team Tema Youth and made his senior debuts for the club in 2012 at the age of 16, he left for Salernitana on loan, with an option for the club to sign him outright.
Salernitana finally signed him in June 22, 2016.
