Nsawam Female Prisoners Receive Compassionate Support from Khryst Awareness Development Center and Moon Dance School of Fashion

In a heartwarming gesture aimed at reminding female prisoners at the Nsawam Prison that they are still loved and cared for despite their circumstances, the Khryst Awareness Development Center, led by Apostle Psalmwell Ababio, partnered with the CEO of Moon Dance School of Fashion, Madam Mary Gold, distribute essential items to the inmates. The initiative, supported by various non-governmental organizations, highlights the ongoing efforts to reach out to marginalized communities and offer them a sense of hope and belonging.

On a recent visit to the Nsawam Prison, Apostle Psalmwell Ababio, a renowned figure in the humanitarian field, led the distribution of sanitary pads and toilet rolls to the female prisoners. The gesture was more than just an act of charity; it was a powerful reminder to the inmates that they are not forgotten and that there are people who care deeply about their well-being. During the event, a prayer session was also held, offering spiritual comfort and encouragement to the women.

In an interview with Ahotor FM, Apostle Psalmwell expressed his joy and fulfilment in being able to contribute to the lives of these women.

“I’m happy to be here today to give you this for you to know that aside from everything, we still love you,” he said. He went on to urge both government entities and private individuals to join his organization in these humanitarian efforts. “This is not going to be the last visit to Nsawam Prison. We plan to make this a global initiative, extending our support to churches, schools, hospitals, and more,” Apostle Psalmwell added.

The event also served as a platform for Apostle Psalmwell to address the upcoming December 7th election, calling on all Ghanaians to avoid any unauthorized actions that could disrupt the peace. He emphasized the importance of a peaceful election, urging citizens to vote responsibly and return home to await the results from the Electoral Commission. “Let’s ensure that our actions contribute to a peaceful election process,” he advised.

Madam Mary Gold, CEO of Moon Dance School of Fashion, also shared her thoughts following the distribution of gifts to the prisoners.

“I want to thank everyone for their contributions in making this event successful. It feels good to be here, but it’s also bittersweet. As a woman, it’s hard to see other women in prison, and that’s why I believe this initiative is so important,” she said. Madam Mary Gold encouraged more involvement from both the government and private sectors, emphasizing that this event is just the beginning. “We are committed to doing more, not just for prisons but also for hospitals, schools, and orphanages. Everyone’s support is needed to make a greater impact,” she concluded.

This initiative by the Khryst Awareness Development Center and Moon Dance School of Fashion is a testament to the power of compassion and the importance of reaching out to those in need, regardless of their situation. As these organizations continue their mission, their efforts serve as a beacon of hope and a reminder that love and care can transcend any barrier.
