Abdul Rashid Pelpuo, the Member of Parliament for Wa Central, has urged Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh to address Parliament regarding the ongoing irregular power supply across the nation.
With certain areas of Ghana facing frequent power cuts, Hon. Pelpuo voiced concerns over the potential health risks and difficulties encountered by citizens.
During an interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo stressed the urgency of the situation, mentioning that the Energy Minister was supposed to update Parliament on the power situation but had not done so.
He highlighted the significance of electricity supply, particularly for cooking and preserving meals.
He called upon the Speaker of Parliament to summon the Energy Minister to provide clarity on the power challenges confronting the nation.
