Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead singer of the famous reggae band Morgan Heritage, passed away at the age of 46. Peter, who started Morgan Heritage with his siblings in 1994, achieved great success, including winning two Grammy awards. One of their awards was for the best reggae album in 2016 for “Strictly Roots.”
In a statement from his family, the talented singer breathed his last on Sunday, February 25, 2023. “We ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you respect our privacy during this time of healing,” the family’s statement said. They described him as a loving father and husband. They didn’t mention the cause of his death.
For many reggae lovers, Peter’s passing came as a shock. They fondly remembered the late singer and cherished memories of his music.
