Nigerian singer Khaid has confirmed that he is currently single. During a podcast interview with Big Brother Naija star Phyna, Khaid revealed that he has never given or received a Valentine’s Day gift before.
When Phyna mentioned that Valentine’s Day is just like any other day, Khaid explained that he hasn’t celebrated the day of love because he is not in a relationship.
“I’ve never celebrated Valentine’s Day based on the fact that I’ve never had someone who celebrates it. I’ve never been surprised on Valentine’s Day or given anything,” Khaid said.
Khaid has recognized that his single status has affected his approach towards celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Khaid emphasized that his focus is on his music, since he is currently single.
