It seems that the All People’s Congress (APC) is gearing up for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana with a strategic focus on volunteerism to strengthen its party structure and increase support. The leader and founder, Hon. Hassan Ayarigah, emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement and volunteer efforts to identify genuine party faithfuls.
The party aims to contest all constituencies and win 25 parliamentary seats in the upcoming elections. Ayarigah also issued a warning to current government officials involved in corrupt activities, stating that if he wins the elections, they will be held accountable.
Financially, Ayarigah expressed confidence and revealed a budget of $100 million for the presidential and parliamentary campaigns. He believes that winning an election in Ghana at this time would require significant financial resources, estimating that any successful party would need to spend between $50 million to $100 million.
It will be interesting to see how the APC’s strategy unfolds and whether they can achieve their goals in the upcoming elections.
He revealed that he has budgeted $100 million to execute the campaign this year to win the presidential polls.
Asked what his budget is, he said “It is a lot, we are looking at 100 million dollars to win the elections.
“Any party that will win an election in Ghana this time around will spend not less than 50 to 100 million dollars,” he stressed.
