Aspiring Assembly member of Tema Newtown electoral area Hon. Sumaila Adjetey Agaby is calling on Ghanaians to vote massively for the former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) come 2024 for his initiatives and plans that will help improve our lives and the economy for better Ghana.
According to him, his reasons have been that the NDC 2024 flag bearer has promised to pay Assembly members should he win the next elections.
Speaking to Ahotoronline.com, the incumbent who is vying for the fourth time said their work benefits the citizens more than the ministers and other government appointees but still they do not receive anything monthly which is bad.
He indicated that the initiative of the NDC flag bearer will encourage assembly members to do more for their electoral areas anytime they are in need.
According to him, the allowances received by the members of the assembly are not enough for them to develop their areas, and that is why he is calling on Ghanaians to help assembly members develop their areas by receiving salaries from the next NDC government led by John Mahama.
He emphasized some projects he has done in Tema Newtown as an Assemblyman who does not receive a salary from the government and called on Ghanaians to give the nod to NDC so that they will get the chance to do more as Assembly members.
