Goodluck eluded us but there is more room for improvement – Coach Fatawu Salifu

Kpando Hearts of Lions Head coach Fatawu Salifu expressed his disappointment with the numerous missed chances his team had against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

In an interview after the game , coach Salifu emphasized that his side should have carried the day if they had be clinical upfront but believes there is more room for improvement.

” Well, I will say this is part of the game,
Sometimes you play well, you create chances; you don’t get to use your chances especially, first game like this mostly looks very tough. So, of course, I would say it’s not, it’s just hard luck.”

Heart of Lions will now prepare to host Great Olympics in Sogakope for their matchday-two fixture on Friday, September 22, 2023.
