Hon. Mustapha Ussif, the Minister of Sports, has encouraged clubs and the National Sports Authority to transform their venues into spaces that will attract more people to sports events.
He emphasized the importance of creating family-friendly environments where parents can bring their families to participate in sports and leisure activities.
“Let us create family-friendly spaces where parents can bring their families to engage in sports and leisure activities that we all love,” he said.
He further advised that safety should be a major consideration and in addition to that, he implored that the stadium should be an exciting venue for all interested individuals.
Additionally, Mustapha suggested that premier league clubs should adopt innovative marketing strategies that appeal to the younger generation, engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives, and foster deeper connections with fans by involving the community.
