Leicester City striker Patson Daka and Glasgow Rangers forward Fashion Sakala’s UEFA Europa League woes continued on Thursday. Patson was in Poland with Leicester where they lost 1-0 away to Legia Warsaw to remain winless after two Group C games played.
The Chipolopolo striker started the match in which he had at least three good chances particularly a 63nd minute header that was saved and a fine bicycle kick in the 72nd minute before he was replaced by Jamie Vardy in the 82nd minute.
The English club is bottom of Group C with 1 point tied with third positioned Napoli while Legia lead on maximum 6 points, three more than second placed Spartak Moscow.
Meanwhile, Patson ‘s last game before heading out for Chipolopolo duty is on Sunday when Leicester visit Crystal Palace.
Winless Rangers too were in Eastern Europe where they too lost 1-0 to Czech club Sparta Prague.
Fashion played the full 90 minutes for ten-man Rangers but he was sadly denied his debut European goal in the 49th minute when his effort was ruled out for offside.
Rangers are bottom of Group A on zero points while Sparta are second on 4 points, two points less than Lyon.
