Black Stars set to begin camping for WC qualifiers on Tuesday

The Black Stars of Ghana will commence camping ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia next week. The invited players are expected to start training on Tuesday. Coach CK Akunnor will miss five players as a result of COVID-19 restrictions in England.

England based players, Jordan Ayew, Abdul Baba Rahman, Andy Yiadom, Daniel Amartey and Tariqe Fosu have all been blocked by their clubs from travelling.

Due to this, some replacements have been made including Joseph Aidoo, Yaw Yeboah, Daniel Kofi Kyereh and Braydon Manu.

The Black Stars will play against Ethiopia on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 7pm. Ghana will hope to start the campaign on a high.
