National Daily Minimum Wage for 2021 increased by 6%, now ¢12.53

The National Tripartite Committee (NTC) has increased the National Daily Minimum Wage to ¢12.53, which is a 6% increment on the 2020 figure of ¢11.82.

This followed conclusion of negotiations on the determination of the National Daily Minimum Wage in respect of 2021 and 2022 at its meeting held Thursday, June 3 in Accra.

The General Secretary of Trade Union Congress (TUC) Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah commented on the issue.
