Heads of state of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have suspended the Republic of Mali from the Regional body over a coup de tat done.
The ECOWAS Heads of States took the decision yester after over 5 hours of deliberations at the extraordinary summit on the Malian situation at the Kimpinski Hotel in Accra.
Addressing the press after the summit, Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Shirley Ayorkor Botwey called for calm in Mali.
