A video footage sighted by Ahotoronline.com reveals chiefs in the Kpone traditional area in a heated bunter with President Akuffo Addo’s entourage to the palace , a very embarrassing confrontation which led to an eventual sack of the President from the palace.
The visit was part of the President’s tour in the Greater Accra Region.
According to the report, the President and his entourage were sacked from the palace over what the traditional leaders described as fraudulent sod cutting spree embarked on by President Akuffo Addo at the tail end of his presidency. According to reports , they believe the President’s numerous sod cutting seen lately are nothing short of a political stage work meant to fool people for votes.
An eyewitness who spoke to Ahotoronline.com under a condition of anonymity disclosed that the chiefs have vowed never to allow themselves to be fooled for political expediency, the reason for president’s embarrassment.
