At the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC’s townhall meeting in Kumasi today, September 15 2020, the National chairman of the party, Hon. Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has assured the citizens of Ashanti region that if they are given the nod to lead Ghana for another 4 years, they would not take their supports for granted.
According to the National Chairman and former eastern regional minister, the ruling New Patriotic Party has failed the Asanteman in all aspects of development.
He used the opportunity to once again challenge the Akufo-Addo led-NPP government to debate the NDC on the developmental projects each has given to the Asanteman under their various regimes.
Hon. Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo who looked more confident in his challenge listed a few projects, Ashanti region has benefited from the NDC.
He ended his speech while delivering the welcome message at purpose of gathering for the town hall meeting at the Great Hall, KNUST by saying that NDC has never taken Asanteman for granted and never will they do when voted into power come December 7 2020.
Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is a ghanaian politician and a former member of parliament as well as the district Chief executive for the fanteakwa north district of the Eastern region of Ghana.He is also a former eastern regional minister and a former national organizer of the national democratic congress.
