Ghana’s former first lady, Lordina Mahama is 55-years-old today (March 6) and her husband former president John Mahama has taken to his social media handles to express his love and appreciation for her.
Mr Mahama in similar posts on Instagram and Facebook shared a picture of his family (together with Lordina and their children) with the caption; “Happy birthday to a wife and a mother. May God return to you, multiple-fold, the blessings you continue to give us.”
The couple have been married for over 25 years and will celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary later in July.
It will be recalled that they renewed their wedding vows last year at a ceremony, which was witnessed by some close friends and family of the couple at a private Church service in Accra.
John Mahama, 58, married Lordina Mahama, born Lordina Effah in 1992.
