Five armed robbers were arrested yesterday, 7th January, 2018 by the Criminal Investigation department (CID) of the Ghana police at the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga.
Information reaching ahotoronline.com indicates that these robbers had three foreign pistols, one short gun and ammunitions were retrieved from them. They are to be transferred to the Prampram police station for further investigation.
History
On 20th November 2017, at 1:00am five armed robbers stormed an Orphanage home at the New Ningo and succeeded in taking away an unspecified amount of foreign and local currencies, six mobile phones and succeeded in brutalizing them.
Report was made to Prampram Police and thorough investigations started. These robbers were said to be at Bolgatanga and the regional CID was notified.
