The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krowor Constituency organized a vibrant health walk on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in Nungua as part of their ongoing campaign efforts to secure victory in the upcoming general elections.
The event, which drew thousands of party’s faithful and supporters, aimed to galvanize grassroots support and energize the constituency ahead of the polls.
Leading the walk were the Constituency Chairman, Rev. Dr. Benjamin Danso, and the Member of Parliament for Krowor, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey.
Clad in NDC-branded apparel and waving party flags, supporters marched through the streets of Nungua amidst cheers, chants, and drumming, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Addressing the crowd after the walk, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey expressed gratitude to the participants for their unwavering commitment to the party.
She emphasized that the campaign was far from over and urged supporters to intensify their efforts in reaching out to undecided voters.
“This is the final stretch, and we must not relent,” Dr. Lartey said.
“Let’s continue engaging with our communities, sharing our message of hope, and demonstrating why the NDC is the best choice for Ghana’s future. The work we do today will determine our victory tomorrow.”
Dr. Lartey further appealed to the people of Krowor to vote overwhelmingly for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and herself as their parliamentary representative.
She ambitiously challenged them to triple the votes they gave the NDC in the previous election.
The Constituency Chairman, Rev. Dr. Benjamin Danso, also addressed the crowd, highlighting the importance of unity and discipline within the party ranks.
He encouraged supporters to remain focused and resolute, assuring them that their collective efforts would lead to a decisive victory.
The health walk is part of a broader campaign strategy by the NDC in the Krowor Constituency, which includes community outreach programs, door-to-door engagements, and town hall meetings.
The event not only served as a show of strength but also demonstrated the party’s commitment to promoting health and fitness among its supporters.
