Honorable Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Krowor Constituency, reaffirmed her commitment to the welfare of her constituents through a substantial support initiative held yesterday.
Demonstrating her dedication, she presented seed funding to over 100 individuals within the constituency, with amounts ranging from GHC 1,000 to GHC 5,000.
In addition to the financial support, Dr. Lartey provided a variety of practical resources aimed at empowering local businesses and individuals. Items such as deep freezers, hair dryers, cooking utensils, plastic chairs, and even driver’s licenses were distributed to beneficiaries, with each item selected to meet specific needs and boost economic opportunities within the community.
Addressing the attendees at Wazar Park, Dr. Naa Momo Lartey emphasized that this initiative was not politically motivated, nor was it intended to solicit votes.
Rather, she stressed that her support stems from her strong bond with the people of Krowor and her desire to contribute meaningfully to their progress and wellbeing.
Dr. Lartey expressed her hope that these resources would help many community members achieve greater financial independence and stability, thus enhancing the prosperity of the entire constituency.
